Why are you leaving your present job?
This is a common job interview question that the recruiters ask the candidates for assessment and to learn about their present job status at work. Here is an example answer:
I am leaving my present job due to a few reasons. First, I have been with the company for a while now and I am looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow professionally. I believe that after so many years in the same company, it’s time for me to step out of my comfort zone and take on new challenges that can help me grow both professionally and personally.
Second, I am looking for a company that aligns more with my personal values and goals. In my current job, I have noticed a lack of opportunities for professional development and career advancement, which is important to me. I believe that a change of environment and a new company can offer me a more fulfilling work experience and help me achieve my goals.
Lastly, I am looking for a company with a positive company culture. In my current job, I have noticed a lack of work-life balance and a high level of stress, which is not ideal for me. I believe that a new company can offer me a better work-life balance, a more supportive and positive working environment, and an opportunity to grow professionally.
I am grateful for the experiences and opportunities that I have had at my current job, but I believe that it’s time for me to move on to something new and exciting. I am confident that my skills, experience, and dedication to my work will be a valuable asset to any organization, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to a new company.
