Job Description:
A flight attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers on board an aircraft. They provide customer service, assist with boarding and deplaning, and ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming passengers on board the aircraft
- Checking and verifying the safety equipment on the plane
- Assisting with boarding and deplaning, including helping passengers with their luggage
- Demonstrating emergency procedures and ensuring that all passengers understand them
- Providing first aid and medical assistance as needed
- Responding to passenger requests and complaints
- Ensuring that the cabin is clean and tidy at all times
- Checking that the galley is properly stocked
- Helping to evacuate the aircraft in case of emergency
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a medical examination and drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check and security clearance
- Must be able to pass a flight attendant training program
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English
- Must be able to work in a confined space and at high altitudes
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
