Job Description:

A paralegal is a professional who works alongside attorneys and legal teams to assist with the research, preparation, and management of legal cases and documents. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including conducting research, drafting legal documents, organizing and maintaining legal files, and communicating with clients.

Responsibilities:

Conducting legal research and analysis to assist attorneys in the preparation of cases
Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts
Organizing and maintaining legal files and case materials
Communicating with clients and other legal professionals
Assisting attorneys during trials and hearings
Preparing and summarizing legal documents and reports

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent
A paralegal certificate or associate degree in paralegal studies
Strong organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of legal procedures and principles

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as political science or criminal justice)
A paralegal certification from an accredited program
Experience working in a legal setting
Strong research and analytical skills
Familiarity with legal software and technology.
